![]() Is an INFP with the functions flipped around, but not an xNTJ. Alternatively I would peg him as an ESTJ, which I seriously think Flowey is the same type as Asriel, just If you notice, Flowey is extremely childish, because heĪctually does have the mind of a child (he’s not as forward-thinking as Because SPOILERSĪsriel is an INFP, and Flowey is essentially Asriel without the positiveįi qualities. He actually is just a child trying to act like a villain from those old Saturday morning cartoons. He tends to use the words “stupid” and “idiot.” He tries to put on an intimidating, villainous persona (and it seems to fool most people) but it’s not actually him. Also, he’s cruel, wants to provoke people, and is quick to blame and point out flaws. It looks like him and Chara have poor-planning skills in common. He has an ever-changing one that seems kind of…not well thought out. His stubborn, unrealistic “kill or be killed” motto was formed by his experiences.Įxtraverted Thinking (Te): Flowey doesn’t actually have a solid plan with a vision for the future. He has a subjective memory of the past and of Chara which ends up turning him into your last (the player’s) victim. In the genocide run, we see more of his Si-fueled naivety. ![]() Flowey remembers past resets and uses them to predict the future. Introverted Sensing (Si): When you’re resetting the timeline over and over, you’re going to be taking notes on what works and what doesn’t. ![]() That echo flower is right next to the spot where he appeared. This is one of the rooms where Flowey shows up behind you, and retreats as soon as you catch a glimpse of him. He’s very opportunistic, which is what makes him seem like he knows exactly what’s going to happen when in reality, he’s just embracing possibilities. I don't think calling Toriel has anything to do with it. And he’ll get a new idea based on what choices the player is making. He can’t predict exactly what they’ll do, but he can see what’s possible. When Frisk falls down, they start analyzing them, trying to figure out what potential they have either as an enemy or partner. What’ll happen if he does this? If he’s nice to this person and ruthless to this person? There’s no telling what could happen, but the questions fascinate him and keep him playing the game. What truths could the different experiences and ways of playing the game reveal about individual people?Įxtraverted Intuition (Ne): Flowey is all about possibilities. ![]() After letting go and playing with his power to reset things, he experimented with situations and people to see how they’d react.
